Welcome to Naples PR Club - History

The Naples Pulmonary Rehab was founded in 2020 by Ellen, a dedicated pulmonary therapist at the NCH Pulmonary Rehabilitation Center. With compassion and vision, she created a support group where individuals living with pulmonary diseases—or recovering from lung transplants—could come together to connect, share their journeys, and uplift one another.

When Ellen retired in 2023, the club endured thanks to the commitment of Oscar, a patient and advocate who joined pulmonary rehab in 2021. After years of active participation and undergoing a double lung transplant in 2024, Oscar embraced the mission of giving back to the community that once carried him. His leadership reflects both gratitude and a deep desire to help others find strength through shared experience.

Today, Naplesprclub continues to grow as a community program of Rescues and Values for the Human Rights, supported by the NCH Rehab Center staff and enriched by the addition of Laura Falt, whose energy and vision are helping shape the next chapter of the group. Together, we remain dedicated to improving the lives of patients and caregivers through connection, encouragement, and shared knowledge.

Our mission is simple yet powerful: to cultivate a compassionate community where individuals and care givers facing pulmonary challenges can find strength, understanding, and hope.
